where prayers mix with soul whispers. where rest combines with handwork. where beautiful food brings us into the kitchen. where time is untethered and the beauty of ritual is non-negotiable. where bellies gather with other bellies to be seen, adored, nurtured, filled, lifted.
Naps in cozy blankets.
Snuggles on sheepskin with kindreds.
Oils for Winter skin.
Vision pages scattered.
Handwork, beads, embroidery.
Saunas and steam.
Fresh juice, hot tea.
Chocolate rituals, tea rituals.
Fire pits, releasing.
A walking with ferns hike.
Highly sensitive corners filled with supplies.
Nothing that has to be done.
Going deeper through belly to belly.
No schedule or alarm.
Every prayer is held here.
Belly to Belly Gathering ::
When we first saw this house I knew I would hold women together in circle here. When I was first readying the rooms I would imagine what layers of blankets and pillows and gifts I would put on each bed. Then for a time I went into a deep hermit stage. We were blending five kids together, moving kids into new schools, continuing to commute other kids to schools and figuring out this new life.
The space kept whispering. Gather your women belly to belly. Bring them together, I will hold them.
In my beginnings of gathering women it was all about the schedule. I wanted to fit everything in. So much learning, workshops, guest teaching, meal times. It was wonderful and also, so much. Over the years I’ve come to feel a strong gut knowing of something different. No schedule. No alarms. No times for anything. Nothing that must be done.
Everything that can be.
I have been dreaming of a gathering to just be together with the possibility of experience at every turn.
Naps and tea rituals and piles of tarot and archetype cards.
Chocolate ceremonies when we need to circle and feel lifted and vision pages and glue and magazines at hand.
Fire pit gatherings to burn bundles of herbs and offerings and release.
Organic fruits and vegetables overflowing in bowls.
Jars filled with rice and beans and lentils and nuts.
Soup bowls and chopsticks stacked and ready.
Meals that we create together or let others create for us when we are hungry and snacks and ingredients to play with at all times.
Piles of sheepskin and Kantha blankets and fluffy pillows to fall into and share our stories.
Shared altar space to hold our time, our belly to belly symbols.
Baskets filled with handwork, beads, embroidery, water colors, cards, papers.
Meditation pillows and singing bowls and scented oils and plant gem essences.
Field trips if we desire to the woods and salt rooms and steam rooms scented with eucalyptus and sauna rooms to melt our stress into.
Gifts of sensuality and pleasure and devotion waiting on beds.
Our time together ::
Our space together is in Mansfield, Massachusetts, 45 minutes from the Providence Airport tucked into a Wetland forest, a few minutes from a gorgeous State Park. Boston Airport is a bit more complicated but also a 45 minute drive if no traffic.
The first night, Thursday, we will gather together, those staying at the house can relax into their space, make some tea and relax. We will all have a dinner together (this meal will be prepared ahead of time for us and all your food needs will be honored) and circle together with a lovely dessert and tea as we feel ourselves in physical space together and adjust our nerves and excitements.
All food is gluten-free and low in sugar and as organic as we can be. You are invited to make yourself at home over the days and help yourself and feel into the space in any way you need. All your food needs will be honored and prepared for.
We can create a shared altar space to open our space together and offerings to make small bundles that we’ll burn on our final night will be set up.
Those sleeping here can choose any bedtime and take care of meeting their needs for bed time and waking times.
The second day, Friday, begins with beautiful breakfast/brunch foods for us along with coffees and teas. This day will hold space for our movement. A walking with ferns hike led by my partner Dave will be optional before he goes off to whisk the kids away for the weekend.
For those who would like to take a more intense field trip later, we’ll drive together to Cranston, RI (about 40 minutes away) and spend time at a gorgeous, magical space that holds 3 saunas, a pink salt room and a steam room. There are infused waters and fresh juices and raw snacks. Each of us will have a turkish towel to bring and a bathing suit (which you may want for the steam room) under shorts and a tank top is the way they ask us to dress.
We will decide on these activities and their timing, there will be no firm schedule to stick to. We’ll flow to meet our needs.
Later in the evening we’ll create a shared meal together and cozy up back in our gathering space. A group meditation time will tether us into our slow down, the hsp cycle of movement into stillness. For anyone not staying the night, we’ll hug and kiss and see in the morning as we have a beautiful night sleep.
The third day, Saturday, is our day of stillness and handwork and lingering in pajamas and coffee mugs warm in our hands. This day is anything, all the belly to belly time.
We will share meals and create and talk and pull cards and nap. You can go for walks, build a fire, make food or eat the food offerings, or stay inside and be in cozy bliss. You can take time to be with just yourself, there will always be a room available for quiet reflection.
The (re)spiriting style shop will hold lovely things stocked just for all of you and each of you can pick a treasure (as well as purchasing other treasures if you wish) for your Spiritstyle.
Weather permitting we can gather around the fire pit and burn our bundles in belly to belly ceremony.
For those not staying the nights, we can close our circle together and say good-bye with all the hugs.
The fourth morning, Sunday, is our departure day. Coffee and tea as early as needed. Please have breakfast/brunch together, and we will help as much as we can with travel plans.
We can work on coordinating travel plans and rides and airports and car rentals, etc.
Currently sold out for April 2019. New dates announced soon.
